We have been in Mpoma for over a week and a half and it is hard to believe what we have already accomplished in personal and professional goals alike. We journaled as consistently as possible, I chipped 800+ pages on this amazing book I put off last quarter, we worked in a garden and planted cassava, and the students at the Johnson Nkosi Primary School taught us how to make some rad beads and bracelets. I played soccer with the boys and Tommaso to get some exercise in, while Amanda and Ayesha ran around and played games with the younger boys and all the girls! We visited Mukono, Kampala, the Kasubi Royal Tombs, and even attended church with Barbra to see more of the culture. We were each assigned a class to observe this Tuesday which we will be teaching every Tuesday starting next week—I hope my teaching abilities live…
